Liv Lindeland was born on 7 December 1945 in Norway.

Her January 1971 Playmate pictorial, shot by Alexis Urba, is most commonly attributed as the first in which a Playboy Playmate shows her pubic hair.

Both Liv's PMOY pictorial and the cover for the June 1972 issue were also shot by Alexis Urba.

Liv also posed for Mario Casilli for the December 1979 pictorial Playmates Forever.

Liv said in her Data Sheet "I'm a natural blonde, and I don't believe in marriage". While the first is certainly true she did marry Tony Martin Jr., the son of actress/dancer Cyd Charisse and night club singer Tony Martin.

One of her Data Sheet stated ambitions was to become an actress. She had done some acting before her Playboy appearence and continued to do some movies afterwards. These can be a bit difficult to find on DVD, some are below.
